The dough is the point: long-fermented, airy, with a properly charred cornicione (the puffed crust edge) straight from a wood-fired oven. The weekday lunch menu comes in under €20 and is the smart way to try the range without ordering three pizzas for two people. Order the octopus pizza, which has won awards and earned its own small cult; the four-cheese for a classic; or, if you’re feeling extravagant, the truffle. Salads are unusually generous if pizza isn’t what you want. The wine list is short, well-chosen, and fairly priced. The dining room is informal and noisy in a good way — kids’ birthdays sometimes push the decibels up — and the terrace is a sun-trap in warmer months.
